Consulting Services (CS): Consulting Services offers a multidisciplinary network of engineers and geoscience experts across the globe that can solve a client's challenging subsurface issues. With deep experience over a breadth of domains, combined with Weatherford's suite of differentiated technologies, we help answer technological questions over the life a client's unconventional or conventional assets.
Interpretation & Processing Services (IPS): Weatherford is a premier provider of a range of formation evaluation solutions designed to inform critical operational decisions that will help monitor, understand, and optimize the performance of a well. Our trained analysts use advanced processing and interpretation technologies to deliver results which incorporate borehole imaging, acoustic, petrophysical, or well integrity based data from a number of sources.
Real-Time Data Services (RTDS): This integrates formation evaluation and drilling optimization data across a common, web-enabled platform. Real-time data provides key information to make accurate, time-critical decisions to help avoid potential hazards and manage costs effectively while optimizing performance.
Job Description
A Sales Representative is required for Petroleum Consulting Business Unit. This representative will actively promote Weatherford's products to new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive to win and get results.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop marketing and forecast plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets of opportunity that clearly define objectives, goals, schedules, and action assignments for the Business Unit.
To actively seek new clients for Weatherford products and build new relationships while maintaining existing Weatherford/ Client relationships
Provide technical support and advise clients on services.
Analyze and define the market for division product growth within the Business Unit.
Lead and author quotations for client projects.
Develop pricing strategies and promotional programs.
Maintain personal contact with customers.
Resolve customer complaints regarding service, product, or personnel.
Hold periodic sales meetings with direct reports.
Keep up to date information on existing and future work to assist with planning and scheduling resources.
Recognize customer needs and industry trends.
Manage and report leads through the Salesforce application.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications:
Post-Secondary education in a related field, i.e. business or oilfield.
10+ years of sales and business development experience in the industry and extensive knowledge of oilfield services.
Broad industry exposure to one or all of:
Laboratory, geology, reservoir, geomechanics, and engineering studies.
Production optimization studies.
Wireline operations in both Cased and Open Hole logging.
Assembling and promoting professional training courses.
Proven track record to develop and maintain customer base relationships and ability to make cold sales calls.
Demonstrated outgoing personality, relationship orientated, capable of networking in diverse situations showing entrepreneurial characteristics.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Results driven team player - positive attitude.
Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills.
Proactive coordination, organizational, and management skills.
Highly motivated, professional in manner and appearance.
Proficient use of personal computers and related software.
Valid driver's license with clean drivers abstract.
