A company located in the Aurora area are seeking a QA Supervisor to be part of their team.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum of 5 Years experience in the food industry preferably in Quality Assurance
* Knowledge and understanding of food safety programs
* Experience in the maintenance of a Food Safety and Quality program
* Degree in Food Service, Microbiology or Nutrition
* High level of computer skills with Word and Excel
* Time Management Skills
* Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization and ability to interact with customers and suppliers
RESPONSIBILITIES
* BRC knowledge and maintenance
* HACCP back ground, creating & maintaining procedures
* Food Safety & Quality Control Knowledge
* GMP's and the training of GMP's
* Familiar with Internal Audits
* Dealing with customer complaints/issues, surveys and specifications
* Product Recall, mock recall and traceability audits
* Coordinating of QA testing and sampling
* Ability to coordinate customer and third party audits
* Familiar with Organic and Kosher Certifications
* Incoming Sample Testing
* Over see Pest Management Control
* Creation & Maintenance of product specifications
* Technical and ability to train
