Job Description

Working alongside the management team, the HR Manager will be responsible for managing all human resources functions within the facility. This individual will be a key member of the leadership team, providing coaching and guidance to the department managers in areas of performance management and employee relations. The main responsibilities include:

Coaching and training the management team
Recruitment for all positions within the facility
Onboarding and orientation for new employees
Developing and implementing a performance management system (and providing training to relevant individuals)
Assist with investigations for near misses and accidents

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Manager or HR Advisor in an industrial setting (e.g. mining, oil/gas, forestry, transportation, heavy manufacturing)
Change management experience
Must have occupational health and safety experience
Level 3 First Aid would be a major asset
