Description
These positions are full-time regular and will be primarily responsible for the safe operation of haul trucks with an opportunity for training on support equipment. Position requires hauling in all conditions and in various digging configurations.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Must take a personal and active approach to health, safety and environment and understand and follow all state, federal and company health, safety and environmental requirements applicable to the work area and tasks assigned.
Duties include, but are not limited to: equipment inspections, following safe operating procedures for driving, loading and dumping, using proper communications, fueling each shift and completing required paperwork (operators report, time card, etc.).
May assist with cable and equipment moves and may operate various pieces of heavy equipment as necessary to support operations.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma/GED is preferred.
Candidate should have satisfactory safety record, as well as a strong commitment to individual and team performance and accountability.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous heavy equipment experience in a mining related industry.
