Responsibilities:
This position entails calculating potential and actual air emissions; performing regulatory applicability and compliance evaluations; and the development and submittal of air permit and regulatory reports. The position will entail project management; supervision and mentoring of junior staff; client and regulatory agency interaction; and business development.
Qualifications
Position requirements include BA/BS in Engineering, or other related fields and 3-5+ years of experience preparing air permitting documentation (Title V, New Source Review, etc.); interpreting and applying federal, state, and local regulatory requirements; and completing emission inventories. Experience managing air quality projects and clients; supervising staff; and developing business is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for client interactions; proficiency with MS Office and Adobe; the ability to successfully multi-task; and strong safety awareness as well as a good record and understanding of safe work practices are essential. EIT or PE certification is desired.
