Job Description and Responsibilities
EVRAZ North America is one of the most diversified steel manufactures in North America; is a wholly owned subsidiary of EVRAZ Group S.A., one of the largest vertically integrated steel and mining businesses in the world. Our diverse range of manufacturing capabilities allows us to produce a wide array of specialty steel products: plate, coiled plate, welded and seamless pipe for oil and gas applications, structural tubing, rail and wire rod / bar. We take a dynamic approach to manufacturing, using the production flexibility of our facilities to respond quickly to changes in the market for maximum efficiency and cost savings.
We are currently accepting applications from experienced candidates for our Stores Clerk Position.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to work safely in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Work independently and in a team is a must.
Attention to detail, as wells as good written and oral communication skills are required.
Receives, identifies, inspects and stocks parts.
Issues parts to EOS craftsmen.
Responsible for unloading trucks, inputting data into Oracle computer systems and preparing parts for outbound shipment.
Perform inventory and cycle-counting of parts.
Contact vendors for rush emergency parts, as needed.
Job Requirements
Knowledge of inventory control and receiving principles
Familiarity with maintenance repair parts and supplies
Detail oriented
Customer service oriented
Self initiating, well organized, problem solver, with ability to multi-task.
Computer literate - Oracle, MPAC, Excel, PC experience a plus
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with vendors, customers and individuals at varying levels within the organization.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Able to lift 50 pounds
Able to operate forklift
Demonstrated team worker
Ability to pass Ergonomics Test
