[C] ERM [/C] is seeking a Junior CSR/Sustainability Consultant to join our growing environmental and sustainability consulting team in Denver, CO. In this role, you will contribute to the development and growth of [C] ERM’s [/C] global sustainability and corporate reporting business. [C] ERM [/C] delivers a wide range of sustainability reporting services, including strategy development, benchmarking, metrics and goal setting, writing, layout and design, and third-party verification and assurance. We help develop and implement sustainability programs across a broad range of industry sectors for global companies. Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability reporting utilizing Global Reporting Initiative Guidelines and other industry-specific tools.
Support development of corporate sustainability reports, including writing, editing and proofreading content.
Assist corporate clients to respond to annual questionnaires, such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and CDP.
Assist in developing practical and measurable sustainability and climate change programs (including vision, goals, reduction targets and metrics).
Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments.
Support [C] ERM [/C] Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to effectively manage projects.
Work collaboratively and effectively with clients, [C] ERM [/C] employees and vendors.
Stay knowledgeable of trends in the field.
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters’ degree in related field.
Passion for sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Recent graduate to 2 years of related experience in consulting, corporate, industrial or government environment.
Attention to detail; excellent proofreading/technical editing, written and verbal communication skills.
Experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.
Familiarity with the Global Reporting Initiative.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits a willingness to try new approaches.
Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision.
