Introduction:
Our client (a Chrome mine) situated in Limpopo is currently looking for a Hydraulic Fitter for a 3-6 month contract period
Requirements:
Relevant Trade Test with minimum N2 (Red seal, Section 13)
At least 2 year’s trade specific experience in a trackless / mining / plant environment
Code 08 (EB) Driver’s Licence and own transport.
Advantageous requirements:
At least 1 year earth moving equipment practical experience.
At least 1 year hydraulic equipment practical experience
Previous Sandvik and Roofbolter experience.
Duties:
Schedule and organize work, spares, tools and resources according to maintenance/breakdown schedule processes and procedures.
Execute work against issued work order in a timeous and accurate manner.
Perform maintenance activities as per maintenance/breakdown schedule including accurate and timeous feedback and documentation to all relevant stakeholders.
Comply to safety, health and environmental standards.
Ensure tools and equipment inspection, maintenance and control.
Ensure effective teamwork and good communication by establishing interaction between members.
