The Atlanta office of [Company] is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. The successful candidate will assist with all areas of accounting with primary focus on the full cycle of accounts payable. The position involves direct contact and communication with designated approvers, vendor/suppliers, and all levels of company management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Matching, coding and entering invoices daily;
Routing invoices for approval and resolving problems;
Researching and reconciliation of vendor statements;
Assisting vendors and employees with inquiries and account status;
Responsible for the online archiving of A/P invoices;
Review of electronic expense reports to ensure adherence to company policies;
Other accounting duties and cross-training as appropriate.
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
High school diploma or its equivalent is required; Associates degree preferred;
A minimum of 1 year of accounts payable and/or general accounting experience is required;
Experience with MS Word, MS Excel and any accounting software package a plus;
10-key experience is required;
The ability to perform all duties within established deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy required;
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external contacts;
Ability to work in a team environment and to maintain confidential information required;
Local candidates will receive primary consideration, no relocation available for this position.**
