Where does this role fit in to Version 1?

We have the largest locally-based Oracle implementation and managed support services capability in the country and a depth of expertise across the Oracle stack including Database, Middleware, E-Business Suite and Business Intelligence.
Tell me about the role – what will I be doing on a daily basis?
Version 1 has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Oracle/SQL Server DBA within Version 1's growing Managed Services practice . We provide complete lifecycle solutions to our customers, helping them to achieve their business objectives by identifying Database support requirements, designing and implementing Database solutions, providing on-going support and strategic advice. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, coupled with expertise in database administration in Oracle 11g, coupled ideally with some Microsoft SQL Server exposure.
Major duties and Responsibilities:
Strong Oracle and SQL Server Database Administration and Support.
Strong Oracle Weblogic experience beneficial
Strong customer facing and liaising skills, consultancy experience ideally.

What skills do I need to succeed in this job?
Minimum of 5+ years DBA experience;
Strong general Oracle DBA
RMAN, RAC, Dataguard on 9i, 10g, 11g
Exposure to Oracle Spatial technologies would be an advantage
Experience in PL/SQL also desirable
SQL Server experience would be ideal
Some Oracle ebusiness experience would be nice.
