Summary of position
Prepare structural steel and concrete drawings for variety of structures for Mining & Metallurgy and Industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
Prepare reinforced concrete and structural steel drawings
Undertake 2D extraction from 3D model
Coordinate with other disciplines
Check drawings done by others.
Review steel fabrication drawings
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Thorough knowledge of 2D Microstation and 3D PDS Frameworks
Knowledgeable of structural steel and concrete design and drafting for heavy industrial projects
Key Competencies:
Proficiency in 2D Microstation and 3D modeling software
Excellent communication skills
Project coordination skills
Knowledge of Smart Plant 3D would be an asset
Education and Experience:
A two or three year college diploma in engineering technology or in a closely related field;
Diploma in CADD or sufficient work experience;
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Mining and Metallurgy, Petrochemical or other heavy industrial fields.
Salary wage: CAD$26.00/hour to CAD$44.00/hour
Terms of employment: Temporary full-time position
