We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Occupational Hygienist. Reporting to the Superintendent Radiation and Occupational Hygiene you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and providing advice on Occupational Hygiene issues in the workplace that have the potential to impact on health from environmental and work related sources.
Your key responsibilities will also include:
Responsibility for the coordination and implementation of the site Occupational Hygiene Monitoring Program
Providing guidance to the Radiation & Occupational Hygiene Technicians & Radiation Safety Officers
Undertaking health hazard reviews and risk assessments for identified health hazards
Coordinating and providing advice for the management of hazardous materials on site

Skills & Experience
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have outstanding communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships across all levels of an organisation. In addition to this you will deliver results through structured and rigorous planning, monitoring and execution. Your prior experience leading and mentoring others in relation to best practice Occupational Hygiene standards will see you as a strong contender for this exciting opportunity.
Tertiary qualifications within Occupational Hygiene are essential. Whilst a comprehensive understanding of occupational hygiene database management (Medgate™, Microsoft Access, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Visual Basic) would be seen as highly advantageous.
Full Membership to the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) is highly desirable with designation as a Certified Occupational Hygienist (COH).
