The role

Ensure machine and staff availability
Maintain risk management
Manage stock system and make sure spare parts
Develop Continuous improvement strategy
Long Term Capital Projects
Compilation and controlling of budget
Ensure that environmental, health and safety standards are maintained
Staff training and development
Warrant that all planned and unplanned maintenance activities are carried out effectively

The candidate

10 years' experience in maintenance in the mining industry, of which at least 5 must be un a similar role
Able to work 10 weeks on and 2 weeks off
Fluency in French would be a real asset
You must have a proven track record of successfully working on mining projects in Francophone African countries
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and fluent in French would be an asset
