Description

This position’s primary responsibilities are maintaining consistent and accurate records initiated at the plant level and meets reporting requirements in a timely manner. Maintains all general plant information and performs the general day-to-day clerical support functions. Responsible for processing procurement purchases with proper accounting codes in a timely manner. Responsible person must be able to work independently with little supervision. Candidate must be capable of running the office operation alone at times. Candidate must be available and willing to work a flexible schedule with extended and weekend hours.

Qualifications

In addition, the candidate’s responsibilities include weighing and processing sales of crushed stone at the plant. Weighs each loaded vehicle and prepares delivery ticket with all pertinent information to assure proper billing and accounting of product sold. Maintains cash fund to allow for making proper change for customer. Maintains a good relationship with customers and assists them by providing accurate product price and use information. Candidate must be willing to fill-in periodically at other operations when necessary.
Candidate will also be required to back-up the Customer Service Coordinator at Penrose or Enka Quarry as needed.

This position includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

Must have computer experience to operate the scales ticketing system in which [Company] sales are generated via sales orders and truck weights. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment while providing great service to our customers.
High school degree or GED is required.
Must be able to work closely with customer service and sales departments to ensure sales are accurately recorded.
Must be able to ensure correct materials are loaded following strict DOT weight laws.
Must be able to maintain computer truck files.
Must be able to ensure division policies and procedures are followed with respect to ticketing to enable a clean audit.
Must be able to meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines as required.
Must be dependable and a team player.
